Raised in a Baptist church by a long heritage of Christians on her father’s side
Inspired by a mother raised in a Baptist orphanage, Marie has been in humanitarian aid work with orphans and vulnerable children globally since her childhood.
Born again at the age of 8, her parents led her to Christ.
Called into missions work at age 10 at summer camp.
Filled with the Holy Spirit at 13, she had a supernatural vision of Jesus that truly saved her life.
Healing: Marie often shares the testimony of God’s healing from a brain tumor and a paralyzing stroke. They have seen countless miracles along their journey with blind eyes opening, the deaf hearing, tumors disappearing, and the lame walking.
Family & Hobbies:
Married in 1998 to her Bible School sweetheart for over 25 years.
Homeschooling mom of three almost-grown kids, two daughters in college, and a teenage son.
The kids lead worship or do drama, clowning, crafts, or puppets! Their Radio Ministry is a Bible story drama going to over 70 nations each week seeing thousands receive Christ.
Originally from Alabama, this lady still loves her sweet tea and chocolate pie with a side of southern hospitality, often shown by hosting international guests in their home. Cooking is a hobby she is still learning as homestyle might also imply burnt biscuits (with chocolate gravy)!
She loves spending time with Jesus in the mornings sitting on the backyard swing or her grandmother’s prayer rocking chair. On her errand days, she prioritizes lifestyle evangelism in one on one soul-winning. Workdays, she spends at her very pink home office surrounded with decorative globes -- usually before lunch, she has talked to a few countries!
Mid-day dog walks with their cocker spaniels to the nearby lake, followed by afternoon high tea talking and praying with her friends and family on the porch, are how she enjoys spending a leisurely weekend at their family home in Virginia!
Her favorite things (besides The Sound of Music movie): Museums, performing arts events, exploring nature in mountains and beaches, sometimes even on horseback or hiking a waterfall, playing games, puzzles, reading, painting, and coloring...Marie is always a kid at heart!
